A delicious seafood treat that speaks of seaside fun in the summertime, prawns (or shrimp, depending on your location), are a fascinating creature that have inspired the design of this large platter. Artwork of the pink shelled creatures has been applied to the white earthenware serving platter using a specially cut sponge which applies reactive glazes by hand in a unique pattern every time.
The striking ceramic platter is handmade and decorated in a small, family-owned and operated factory in Italy, where generations of artisans have developed and handed down masterful techniques. The factory is responsible for creating all of the ceramics in the Creatures collection of homewares from BlissHome, which includes numerous marine life-inspired designs on durable earthenware items.
