Product Description

6 x 9.5cms

High fired stoneware can be very durable and I hope you will use your pots on a daily basis and with the right care they will last for many, many years.

All of my pieces are made to be used and I intend for them to be compatible with modern life.

Using in an Oven or Aga

When using in an Aga or similar style oven, always place your pot on a rack or shelf and not directly onto the hot plate at the bottom of the oven.
Do not use on the hob or subject your pot to direct flame or heat.

The pots are not strangers to heat and the 240°C of a conventional oven will not harm your casserole or serving dish, but I always tell my customers to be sensible.

Do not put a cold (from fridge, freezer or cold larder) pot straight into a hot oven and do not put a hot pot directly onto a cold surface (granite, slate or marble work tops for example) or plunge the hot pot into water.

Microwaveable

Using my pots in a microwave is ok,  the clay in the pot is vitrified and I don’t use metal lustres on my work. However, I have found that if I put cracked pot in a microwave, it can make it worse. If your pot no longer rings when you tap the rim, do not put it in a microwave.

Dishwasher Safe

You can put my pots in a dishwasher, after all it is only hot water and detergent, it isn't the dishwasher that might break your pot, but the other items in the machine. Take care when packing and unpacking. After many years of daily use, you may find that pots that have been put through a dishwasher will not be as shiny when compared to a new one.
